About the project

CrewVIP — a global cross-platform platform for aviation professionals

CrewVIP is an international mobile platform combining membership, marketplace, social networking, AI travel planning, and a B2B partner ecosystem. Intent Solutions joined the project in November 2025 and rebuilt the Flutter app and Laravel backend to support scaling and stable operation with 500,000+ offers across 6,000+ cities. Today, the platform is used by 15,000+ aviation professionals from Emirates, Lufthansa, Qantas, American Airlines, Etihad Airways, LATAM, airBaltic, and other airlines. Intent Solutions is responsible for Flutter, Laravel backend, API integrations, QA, DevOps, releases, and ongoing support.

Process

How we rebuilt and scaled the product

After a technical audit, we rebuilt CrewVIP’s architecture, core user flows, and infrastructure to support hundreds of thousands of deals and continued international scaling.

  1. Technical audit and architecture rebuild

    We analyzed the Flutter app, Laravel backend, API, and infrastructure, identified bottlenecks, and rebuilt the core architecture for scaling and further development.

  2. Core product rebuild

    Reworked registration/authentication flows, social login, subscriptions, deals, search, and filtering. Updated Flutter while keeping a single codebase for iOS and Android.

  3. Scaling and new experiences

    Optimized the backend for 500,000+ offers with Redis, queues, WebSockets, CDN, and monitoring. Launched CrewConnect, realtime chat, AI Planner, and automated deal imports in Laravel admin.

  4. QA, releases, and support

    Covered key flows with automated, widget, and integration tests, set up CI/CD and release processes for the App Store and Google Play, and continue ongoing product development and support.

Solution

Architecture built for global scale

We rebuilt CrewVIP as a scalable cross-platform ecosystem with a shared Flutter codebase for iOS and Android, a Laravel backend, realtime communication, subscription infrastructure, and automated management of a large deal catalog. The architecture is designed to support continued product growth without requiring another fundamental rebuild.

Shared Flutter codebase

Approximately 90% of the codebase is shared between iOS and Android, enabling synchronized development, faster feature delivery, and lower maintenance overhead.

Laravel backend for 500 000+ of deals

We rebuilt the backend using MySQL, Redis, queues, WebSockets, and CDN infrastructure to reliably handle a large offer catalog and continued traffic growth.

From benefits app to digital ecosystem

CrewConnect, realtime chat, AI Planner, geolocation, subscriptions, and social features transformed the app into a broader digital platform for the global aviation community.

Automated content management

We extended the Laravel admin platform with automated deal imports and parsing from multiple sources, analytics, offer management, and tools for day-to-day administration.
